I qualified as an RVN in 2012 and since, have worked in a variety of small animal and referral practices, including 6 years as an ophthalmic nurse. As far back as I can remember I have always loved animals and had a minatory when growing up.
In 2020 I gained a qualification in canine behaviour and psychology which has proven invaluable, not only in practice but among my rescue dogs over the years.
Moving from the Northeast of England I join the Vetcare@home Team in 2024 and absolutely love what I do. Treating patients in their home environment really does make all the difference, especially to anxious pets. I really enjoy the interaction with clients. Being able offer support and advice especially in times of need makes my role as an RVN very rewarding.
Outside of work, I love spending time in nature, walking rescue border collie Vinnie in the Derbyshire Dale. With any spare time, I indulge myself in interior design and upholstery.
