I have always been a little obsessed with animals and living on a farm I always had enough pets to keep me busy during my spare time.
I started my veterinary career as a receptionist at a local practice and fell in love with working in the veterinary industry. I started my nurse training in 2005 and qualified in 2008 from Lite ltd in Stockport. I stayed in my training practice gaining experience in nursing until January this year when I made the decision to move to a vetcare at home, I loved the idea of treating animals in their own home. It has been a steep learning curve but I am particularly enjoying being able to help owners care for their elderly pets in their own homes.
When not at work I spend most of my time looking after my own animals. which include two cats, a border collie and a Welsh pony, with the help on my long term boyfriend and two children.
